Steven Gross, LICSW
Steve Gross, Clinical Director of the Community Re-Entry Program, has been a practicing psychotherapist for over 25 years and a family mediator for over 12 years. He has extensive experience training professionals, clinicians and graduate students of various disciplines in mediation and conflict resolution. Mr. Gross maintains a private practice in psychotherapy and mediation in Greenfield, MA.

Doris Schuh, M.Ed., LCSW
Doris Schuh, Director of Violence Prevention Programs, Ms. Schuh has been with the Agency for 20+ years and is responsible for the creation, implementation, and day-to-day operation of the Family and Youth Mediation Program. She has been a consultant for over 12 years for school districts in the areas of Conflict Management, Violence Prevention, and Mediation for both students and staff. Ms. Schuh possesses over a decade's worth of experience in the mediation/conflict resolution field.

Ja'Net Smith, MSW, Clinician
Terri Thomas Girls Assessment Program, she provides clinical assessments and crisis intervention for female juvenile offenders. Ja’Net has also provided clinical services in both outpatient and college campus settings. She received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Boston College and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Ja’Net is on the planning committee for the Annual CHD Through Her Eyes Conference, which focuses on exploring best practices with females in the social service and justice systems. She is a trainer for the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services, and has also presented at both regional and national conferences.

Thomas Verdi, LICSW
Clinical Director, Juvenile Justice Programs, has been the clinical director for CHD’s juvenile justice programs for about ten years. He holds an MSW, from Adelphi University, in practice for 26 years. He has worked in hospital inpatient, community mental health, residential treatment, crisis assessment and state hospital reintegration programs as well. He has presented community education at WNEC Socal Work Conferences, CWLA national conference, CHD’s regional Girl’s conference and numerous community presentations at libraries, police departments and community colleges.

Kirk Woodring, LICSW
is a Senior Program Manager for BHN, overseeing psychiatric day treatment, partial hospitalization and services contracted through the Department of Mental Retardation. He has consulted with organizations in transition for over 15 years and has designed numerous programs to help facilitate and accelerate the change process. He is an adjunct associate professor at Smith College School for Social Work where he teaches graduate courses in group theory.
