Mission The mission of the CHD Training Institute is to extend the expertise and experience of CHD to the community through an extensive range of high quality training, education and consulting services. Who We Are The CHD Training Institute is an alliance of cutting edge, experienced professionals delivering high quality, relevant, affordable training and consultation to a wide range of human service colleagues. What We Offer We offer Supervisory Training, Paraprofessional Clinical Training, Advanced Clinical Training and Medication Certification Training on a regular basis. Our Trainers are available to provide training at your site, customized to your training needs. We have consultants available for Meeting and Retreat Facilitation, Strategic Planning, Team Building, and Mediation and Conflict Resolution. We also have clinical experts available to assist with Program Planning and Design. About the Center for Human Development The Center for Human Development (CHD) is the largest community-based human service agency in Western Massachusetts. Founded in 1972, it offers over 60 separate programs serving children and adults in the region where they are. Included among its services are residential, day treatment, school, casework, and outpatient clinical services. CHD serves emotionally disturbed children, adults with severe mental illness, adults with developmental disabilities, children in the correctional system, homeless families, and abused and neglected children.
