CHD's Juvenile Justice Supports program recruits, hires, trains and supports full and part-time employees to work alongside and in conjunction with Massachusetts Department of Youth Services (DYS) employees in the Westfield Youth Services Center in Westfield, Massachusetts. The DYS Youth Services Center provides 24-hour, seven-day-a-week secure residential services to adolescent youth 11 to 17 years of age who have either been detained and are awaiting adjudication or have been adjudicated and committed to the Department of Youth Services.  CHD Juvenile Justice Supports positions include clinical staff to provide direct clinical intervention and treatment planning in DYS operated programs, direct care staff to provide security and supervision in residential programs, food service workers to provide food preparation and clean up, maintenance staff to conduct custodial functions, exterior grounds keeping, and light building maintenance, and transporters to move youths between programs, to court and medical appointments and other client transportation functions.
