Family Outreach of Amherst 'Salute to Families' Book Event

CHD's Family Outreach of Amherst program will present its annual "Salute to Families" book event fundraiser on Thursday, March 24, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Cole Assembly Room, Converse Hall, at Amherst College, Amherst.
This year's event, titled "The Wily & Wondrous World of Children's Book Writers," will be a panel discussion on children's literature featuring three of the Pioneer Valley's most acclaimed children's book authors, Norton Juster (The Phantom Tollbooth), Jeanne Birdsall (The Penderwicks ) and Mo Willems (Knuffle Bunny). The panel will be moderated by Greta Wilcox.
The event is a fundraiser for Family Outreach of Amherst (FOA), a program of CHD. FOA provides case management services and support for at-risk families in Amherst and surrounding communities.
