Mission and Goals...
Our mission is to strengthen and promote the quality of life for children, adults and families through education, counseling and support.CFS is committed to promoting the growth and development of children and adults by making the most of their personal resources. Whether it be a child with cerebral palsy learning to walk, an adult trying to cope with stress or depression, or parents struggling with how to communicate with their teenager - Child and Family can act as a guide to help individuals and families achieve their personal goals. We are a private, non-profit agency providing a full range of services including individual, couples and family counseling, family support and parenting groups, post adoption, an early intervention program for young children with developmental delays, adapted activities and support for individuals with physical disabilities, and adjustment counseling and information for refugees and immigrants. Our services and programs are available to individuals and families living in Western and Central Massachusetts. We have offices located in downtown Springfield, West Springfield, Easthampton, Greenfield, Orange and Worcester. In addition to working in collaboration with other community organizations, such as schools, churches and local businesses, CFS has licensed counselors who will make home, school or office visits.
